The goal was to completely redesign this Web site to reflect WorldGate's
stature in the interactive entertainment industry. A key requirement for the new
site was to highlight WorldGate's wide variety of interactive content and
best-of-brand service. Scout worked closely with the creative team at WorldGate
to develop a dynamic site that effectively communicates WorldGate's marketing
initiatives. |
Using Macromedia Flash, Scout created a splash page to highlight WorldGate's
message. The introductory movie, designed to complement WorldGate's advertising
initiatives, can be bypassed at the click of a button, and automatically places
visitors on the WorldGate home page upon completion. |
The site was developed using a PHP framework, allowing centralization of
site-wide information, navigation, and page formatting. This greatly simplifies
the tasks of managing and updating single pages or modifying the entire site's
appearance. |
The site features detailed company data and documents the many services
WorldGate provides. All in all, it's a great source for information on the
burgeoning interactive television industry.
The site was developed under an aggressive deadline to be launched for the
NCTA Conference in May 2002.
